St. Francis of Assisi: Founder. 1181-1226. Patron Saint of Italy, Italian Merchants, And Ecology and Ecologists. Depicted in a Franciscan Habit, usually with the stigmata and with a winged crucifix before him. Also shown preaching to the birds or propping up a falling church, or kneeling before a crib

St. Francis Borgia: Invoked against Earthquakes.

St. Gerard of Brogne: Abbot. Died 959. Especially known for the sweetness of his temper. Depicted in art with St. Peter consecrating his church, or by Ss. Peter and/or Eugenius appearing to him, or holding the church in his hand.
