The Cyber Scriptorium: A great site, maintained by Lady Eibhlin ni Chaoimh from Æthelmark. It's got some examples of SCA Calligraphy and Illumination, as well as some helpful articles and pointers. Especially the one on late period Italian illumination. She is brilliant at this style. Also, take time to answer the Scribal Question of the Month! |
Virtual Known World Scriptorium This is really bare bones at the moment, but there's stuff going up left and right. I think when it's done it will be an extremely useful site, as it's not half bad now. |
Scribal Pages of the Barony of Caerthe, in the Kingdom of the Outlands. I'm going to quote Eibhlin here. "Answers the burning question...So,what is Caerthe and why does it have scribes?" Really, it does. |

Lochac College of Scribes. Very nice site from the Principality of Lochac, West Kingdom. Includes a section of good articles by and for scribes. |
Windmaster's Hill Baronial ScriptoriumContains suggested wordings for their Baronial scrolls that can be changed to fit most any award. Has a nice reading and resource list. Another page that promises scroll images in the future. |
A Primer in Calligraphy and Illumination A short primer in the arts of Calligraphy and Illumination for those who are interested in learning how to make scrolls. There are lots of good calligraphy tips here (which are hard to find online) and several very nice examples of illuminations. |
